During refrigeration, the gaseous refrigerant that absorbs heat from indoors is compressed by the compressor, causing its temperature to rise before entering the condenser. In the condenser, high-temperature gaseous refrigerant exchanges heat with ground source water circulating through buried pipes. The temperature of the ground source water is relatively low. After releasing heat, the refrigerant condenses into a liquid state, which is then depressurized and cooled by an expansion valve before returning to the evaporator for further circulation.
During heating, the refrigerant that absorbs heat from the ground source heats up under the action of the compressor, and then releases the heat indoors in the condenser, completing the heating cycle.
4、 Advantages of Ground Source Temperature Stability
The temperature of underground soil or water remains relatively stable throughout the year at a certain depth. For example, in most areas, the soil temperature around 10 meters underground is maintained at around 10-16 ℃ throughout the year. This stable temperature characteristic enables water to ground source heat pump units to efficiently exchange heat during operation, whether in hot summers or cold winters.

Compared with traditional air conditioning systems, water source heat pump units have higher operating efficiency. Most of its energy comes from free ground source heat, consuming only a small amount of electricity to drive components such as compressors.
