Screw chillers can be divided into two types according to different refrigeration forms: water-cooled screw chillers and air-cooled screw chillers.
Air cooled screw chillers are usually used in places where cooling towers cannot be built due to small cooling capacity and good ventilation conditions. The air-cooled screw chiller with large cooling capacity is seldom used due to its large volume, which is not conducive to transportation.
Water cooled screw chillers are the main type of screw chillers, 90% of which are water-cooled. When selecting the screw machine, pay attention to the evaporation temperature and condensation temperature at two points.
Evaporation temperature: the refrigerating capacity shall be determined at a higher evaporation temperature. Different evaporation temperatures have different refrigerating capacity. The lower the temperature is, the smaller the refrigeration capacity is. The higher the temperature is, the greater the refrigeration capacity is. Generally, the refrigeration capacity of the normal temperature machine is calculated when the outlet water temperature is 7 degrees. The calculation of refrigerating capacity of low temperature screw chiller shall be determined according to the actual situation. For example, the cooling capacity is required to be 1000KW, and the outlet water temperature is - 15 degrees, so it needs to be clear that the cooling capacity is - 15 degrees and 1000KW. The cooling capacity is 100 kW, and the outlet low water temperature is - 15 ℃. In case of the former, the evaporation temperature is about - 20 ℃ to - 25 ℃. The second kind of di is selected according to the refrigeration capacity of our normal temperature machine. The low outlet water temperature of zui can reach - 15 ℃.
Condensation temperature: The condensation temperature determines the heat dissipation of the machine. The better the heat dissipation, the higher the cooling capacity. Therefore, the refrigerating capacity of water-cooled screw chillers is generally greater than that of air-cooled screw chillers.
